My name is Anish Mahato, and I come from Nepal, a beautiful nation renowned for its majestic mountains and rich cultural heritage. Currently, I am pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, a field that fuels my passion for problem-solving and innovation. Beyond academics, I have a deep love for traveling, which allows me to explore new destinations, experience diverse cultures, and gain a broader perspective on the world. Additionally, I enjoy playing football, a sport that has instilled in me values such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. Study and Part-Time Work at Library
Libraries offer flexible schedules, enabling individuals to balance work hours with class timetables and study commitments. Combining study and part-time work in a library presents a unique opportunity to integrate academic focus with professional development. Working in this environment not only provides a quiet space for studying but also helps students develop organizational and various other skills.
A library is a collection of resources—including books, periodicals, and digital media—systematically organized for a community to reference or borrow. As vital institutions for education, research, and cultural enrichment, libraries offer diverse work opportunities for students, such as:
·Student Library Assistant: Assisting with book check-in/check-out, shelving, patron resource guidance, and basic clerical tasks.
·Shelver: Organizing and shelving materials, ensuring order, and maintaining library tidiness.
·Volunteer Coordinator: Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers for library programs.
Working part-time in a library while studying is a practical way to gain experience, earn income, and stay aligned with academic goals. Effective time management and leveraging library resources can help students excel in both areas.
Achievements
In my library role as a shelver, I organize books and materials, ensure order, and maintain tidiness. A key achievement was receiving a Certificate of Excellencein the library’s monthly evaluation program, earned through consistent hard work. This dedication resulted in a 99% attendance record and strengthened my commitment to the role.

These experiences have honed my organizational and communication skills while deepening my appreciation for libraries’ role in fostering education and connection.
